CONTEMPORARY IMAGE

ARGUMENT:

TGS.jpg

Over time, the image’s message has definitely evolved but hasn’t changed in meaning and value. Unfortunately, this image isn’t the image on the great seal of America. A few years after Pierre Eugene du Simitiere’s proposal and many changes to the concept, around the year 1782, a new seal was adopted by the Congress to symbolize the nation until this day. Therefore, this image has not had the chance to endure much over time. Even up until now, in the 21st century, America uses the great seal in which conveys similar messages with different symbols and stands for America. The concept of the great seal still holds power and importance within itself and is still used to seal very important documents, paperwork, and agreements until this day.
